Before diving in, we will begin with a free consultation. This phone call is an opportunity to connect with you as we learn about how we can support the needs of you and your family. Next steps may include moving forward with an evaluation, referring to an outside provider, or simply taking time to process information provided.
Connect
For a comprehensive view of your child’s speech and language skills, an initial evaluation is recommended for clients who have not had a speech-language evaluation within the past year. Evaluations may include a combination of in-depth patient history, conversation, informal clinic observations, as well as age-appropriate standardized and non-standardized testing.
Evaluate
Children learn through relationships, interactions, and play within their natural environment. Therapy is tailored towards each individual child’s needs with a focus on their interests and strengths. Through a combination of 1:1 therapy and direct caregiver coaching, we will work collaboratively to help your child and family build meaningful and functional communication skills beyond the confines of the speech therapy room.
